Kemble Cottage in Bradford on Avon

Kemble Cottage is located at Bradford on Avon, just 8 miles from Bath and within easy distance of many local attractions. It makes an ideal base from which to explore this attractive area.  Longleat, Bowood House and the National Trust village of Lacock are all close by and the train station in Bradford on Avon gives an easy connection to Bath (why take the car?) from where there are frequent trains to and from London within 90 minutes.

Originally two cottages, we believe they were possibly built for the weavers of the town.  Every room has beams - even the bathroom -  and the interior is pure charm.  Tucked away in a quiet lane overlooking the town but so close to the shops.

Within walking distance of the cottage, there are numerous independent shops, galleries, antique shops and boutiques as well as a wonderful delicatessen selling local meats, cheeses and luxury edible treats.  The town also boasts a host of restaurants, wine bars, numerous pubs and also The Bridge Tea Rooms which will transport you to a bygone era.
